I'm remembering my time at the Arasha resort near Quito, Ecuador last January! I can hardly believe that a year has past! I've been able to relive the sights and sounds through a few videos I'd taken with my digital camera.

This was part of the relaxing & bonding time with the eWomen Network foundation. There are thousands of birds & flowers that bloom throughout the entire year in Ecuador.

I still haven't developed this new and fabulous website that I was dreaming about when I started this blog.

I have done a lot of research & realize that I need to purchase a great shopping cart tool, and have access to a supply of travel kit items before this dream will be realized. And maybe it's not meant to happen anytime soon.

I did start selling some small travel kits on ebay ~ with little success.

But as alwayas other things that have emerged, like writing projects & a fabulous meeting with a woman I've known for 8 years who just mentioned in passing that she's a part owner in a beauty supply import business.

So, there is hope that this dream will be fulfilled in 2009! Now, I need to find the "market" -- how will people find this site? And who will they be?

I've had an idea!

What's new?! I've had another idea! Well, isn't that the way it is for entrepreneurs?

My favorite conversations in the world revolve around travel, and when I'm travelling my favorite thing to do is shop in local stores for toiletries. YES, very weird! You're right. But I just love finding small sized, or trial sized products that I can take home & try. I have 'fussy skin', and I guess I've been on a search for the perfect products since I got my first $1.00 bill in a birthday card from Grandma.

So, what's the idea? Well, since I'm already forever searching for the perfect toiletries, I thought maybe, just maybe, other people would like to find benefit from my "finds". I'm going to look into building a website with the best prices & products in travel/sample sizes. And possibly set it up so that the customer can pick and choose what they want in their own kit & have it shipped to them before leaving on their next trip.

And also on this site I'd like to connect travellers with other things they might need, like "packing check lists", journals, links to the best travel deals or luggage sales - plus any other tools that make going on a trip much easier.
